I'm Dreaming of a White Halloween

Snow!!!!!!!

I love the snow!!! It is so fun! Along with the fall leaves, it makes for a beautiful scene. It's been a fun week. Only a couple dull moments. Just saying though... I watched a whole season of Once Upon a Time. It is sooo amazing!!! I love it so much.

Tracking and Fielding

So I have the awesome opportunity to be on the competitive intramural track team doing high jump! At this meet we got to wear our uniforms and it was way sweet being all official. Although it was FREEZING cold. Sad day. Here are some sweet pics of the steeple chases race and just some pics around campus and such.

Oh and because my mommy is super super awesome she sent me a care package with many delicious things! YAY!

I have my first official choir concert tonight and all my lovely friends are coming to support me, they are the bestest!!!!! Way excited for the weekend, even though I have buckets of homework, but I will try to have a positive attitude and just work really hard!

I'm a sucker for a good raging dance party.

Wow, I am excellent at writing blog names.
Holy Heck it was a monsoon here today! Ashley, Emily, and I were in their dorm room just minding our own business watching Gossip Girl and such, when a huge loud gusting noise came from outside. We ripped the curtains back to see the tormenting winds and leaves rushing outside! We felt like we were Dorothy in wizard of oz! It was a total out of body experience.
You don't need a blow dryer here. Just stick your head out the window and you're good!!!
And that's all for now.

Oh I guess I should write something about my title... We went to party at the hart saturday night and that was fun. The DJ kinda sucked but its fun just being with friends!

Friday Nights are great at 138

Emily is the Bomb.com

Yup. This describes our Friday nights. Me feeding my addiction of sunflower seeds, Emily eating sprees. We watched What to Expect When You're Expecting and it was SO cute. We laughed, we cried, we just loved it! Although this wasn't the fat rager Friday night I was expecting or wanting it still was very enjoyable :)
Tomorrow I have a track meet and I get to wear my official BYU-Idaho track uniform! It is so legit! I'm super stoked. Then there is a party in the Hart and that is going to be sooo funnnn. We are going to go crazy!

Till next time....

Oh Simple Thing, Where Have You Gone?

I love Keane. Thank you Blake and Courtney :)
Everything becomes so complicated once in college. Yet some things can be so easy.

SIMPLE
 1. I can't imagine going anywhere else. (ok maybe Provo, but I mean a non-LDS college)
 2. A foundation of the gospel in all my classes and every activity is amazing.
 3. A positive attitude.
 4. Taking pictures everywhere I go, it's a given.
 5. Laundry. Every other monday, in, out, fold, put away. simple.
 6. Eating healthy. I eat an apple almost every day.... ;)

COMPLICATED
 1. Tests. It's a whole different ball game. You will realize that when you get a C on the first math exam and the teacher tells you that this test was the easiest of them all. YIKES
 2. Grocery shopping. You don't have your mommy there telling you what the best thing to get is, which the best bargain is, how to cook something, THEIR MONEY, or all the fun of just buying whatever you want without consequence! Everything has to be on a budget, sensible, and all that good "adulty" stuff.
 3. Money. Money sucks. I spit on it. Well actually I don't, because I need it. But metaphorically I wish to spit all over it.
 4. Keeping a schedule. If I don't write something down the minute I hear about it or know that I need to do it, I forget it.
 5. Mission "non-pressure" pressure. In my book of mormon class my teacher talked about how girls should not have any obligation or pressure to go on a mission because of the announcement. But pretty much right now everyone is running like chickens with their heads cut off trying to make a decision. Me included. I am attempting to make an informed and thoughtful decision though.
 6. Balance between FUN HOMEWORK SLEEP. Pretty much the thing is that you can only have 2. Never all three. Currently I am in the fun and homework stage. I should start sleeping more....
 7. Clean checks. We make our dorm look spotless and gorgeous every week before clean check, but come about 5 hours later its a cyclone again! It's amazing how that happens. But I'm barely ever home so I can never put my dirty clothes away, not to mention my closet is a shoe box!

Well anywho I have to tell you about FHE last night!!! It was SO fun. We did painted twister
Technically this isn't my FHE group, but they graciously invited me and I couldn't resist!

Pretty much you set up a homemade twister sheet on the grass but instead of paper colors, it is with paint puddles. The game only lasted for a little until it turned into a full blown paint fight, which was very fun.

Even though most things that used to be simple are harder now, I still love (almost) every moment and wouldn't change it for the world.

BFFFLAE

Only about 5 people will understand the title of this post.
And the rest don't even need to know :)
There are some very important people in my life that I want to talk about.
My best friends.
I love and miss them beyond belief. You go from spending almost everyday together and talking non-stop to talking about once a week and never seeing them, and it is a whole new scary world!!!!
Each played a very important and different role in my life and shaped me to be who I am today. We had something crazy special and every time I think about it I am just happy and amazed at how blessed I was to have them!

A group of 5 different girls who became sisters. We went through it all, but stuck together through it all. An amazing feat that not many can say.
I miss you guys <3
And that's all I have to say about that.
